Knowledge Today. Confidence Tomorrow.

Knowledge Today. Confidence Tomorrow.
Medicare can be confusing. With different parts, plans, enrollment periods, costs, networks, and rules, it can sometimes feel like there are more questions than answers.
That is why Medicare Knowledge exists.
Medicare Knowledge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Medicare education and information to individuals, families, and communities throughout East Texas. Our goal is simple: help people better understand Medicare so they can make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage.
Who Is Medicare Knowledge?
Medicare Knowledge was created because we believe that everyone approaching Medicare or already enrolled in Medicare deserves access to clear, understandable information.
We are not here to overwhelm you with insurance terminology or complicated explanations. We believe Medicare education should be straightforward, conversational, and easy to understand.
Through educational workshops, seminars, community events, and individual assistance, Medicare Knowledge works to bring Medicare information directly to the communities we serve.
Our tagline says it best:
Knowledge Today. Confidence Tomorrow.
When people understand how Medicare works, they are better prepared to ask the right questions, recognize important deadlines, and understand the choices available to them.

Medicare Knowledge can help individuals review their Medicare options and assist them with enrolling in a Medicare plan that fits their individual needs and circumstances.

Our goal is to make the process easier to understand and less overwhelming.
You don't have to figure it all out by yourself.
Education First. Informed Decisions Always.
We believe that education should come first.
Before enrolling in a Medicare plan, we encourage people to understand their options and consider the factors that are important to them—including doctors, hospitals, prescriptions, costs, benefits, and healthcare needs.
Our role is to help you understand those choices so you can make an informed decision.
Bringing Medicare Education Into the Community
One of the things that makes Medicare Knowledge different is our commitment to taking education directly to the people who need it.
We conduct Medicare educational seminars and workshops throughout East Texas. We work with community organizations, senior centers, facilities, churches, food banks, community groups, and other organizations that want to help their members better understand Medicare.
If your organization serves seniors, people approaching age 65, caregivers, or families dealing with Medicare questions, we would love the opportunity to bring a Medicare educational workshop to your facility.
Education works best when it is accessible—and that means meeting people where they are.
Helping People Turning 65
Turning 65 is an exciting milestone, but Medicare can make it complicated.
There are important decisions to make regarding enrollment in Medicare Parts A and B, prescription drug coverage, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, and other coverage options.
Many people simply do not know where to begin.
Medicare Knowledge can help those approaching Medicare understand the process, learn about their options, and, when appropriate, assist them with enrolling in a plan.
We encourage people to start learning before they have to make important decisions.
The more you know before your Initial Enrollment Period arrives, the more prepared you can be.
Helping People Already on Medicare
Medicare education doesn't stop at age 65.
People who are already enrolled in Medicare can experience changes in their healthcare needs, income, providers, prescriptions, or available plans.
Each year, Medicare beneficiaries should review their coverage and understand changes that may affect them.
Medicare Knowledge provides educational information to help people understand topics such as Annual Enrollment Period, Annual Notices of Change, provider networks, prescription drug coverage, Medicare costs, and other important Medicare issues.
If someone determines that a different Medicare plan may better meet their needs, we can help them review their options and assist with the enrollment process when appropriate.
Our goal is to encourage beneficiaries to review, ask questions, and stay informed.
Education Through Community Events
We believe learning about Medicare doesn't have to feel like sitting through a complicated insurance presentation.
Our workshops are designed to be conversational and educational.
We welcome questions.
We encourage participation.
And we believe there is no such thing as a "stupid" Medicare question.
If you don't understand something, chances are someone else in the room has the same question.
That is why our Medicare education programs focus on real-world questions and practical information.
Our Mission
At Medicare Knowledge, we believe education can make a difference.
Our mission is to provide accessible Medicare education and information to help individuals and communities better understand Medicare and make informed decisions regarding their healthcare coverage.
We want people to feel informed rather than intimidated.
We want people to feel prepared rather than overwhelmed.
And most importantly, we want people to know that they don't have to navigate Medicare without understanding how it works.
Serving East Texas
Medicare Knowledge is committed to serving communities throughout East Texas.
We are continually developing relationships with community organizations and facilities so that Medicare education can reach more people.
If your organization would like to host a Medicare educational workshop, we would be happy to discuss bringing a program to your location.
